Food

I am aware that portions are generally smaller and less calorie-rich than in the US (ex. smaller servings, bread rolls are not buttered, etc.).
I am aware that desserts are generally less sweet and smaller, or often consist of fruit, which is less expensive than processed foods.
I am aware that each country and region has its own typical foods, some of which are spicy or have spicy condiments added.
I am aware that it is common to have a spicy sauce (or salsa), bread/tortilla/arepa and vinager oil/salt & pepper on the table during meals.
I am aware that fruits and vegetables are a significant part of a regular diet, and are easily affordable, specially in Latin America.
I am aware that it is more common to drink fruit juices or other typical drinks such as horchata or agua de frutas instead of soda.
